Busy busy

Things have been pretty crazy around here these days. I think we have finally settled into a routine and schedule since I started working full time again. They boys have been busy with school and are looking forward to Christmas. I went to New Moon last night with my mom, sister, niece and my sister's friend. We had a ton of fun even though we had to line up at 5:30 to get seats and we weren't even at the front of the line! LOVED the movie! Can't wait until June now!

Ashton's first day of pre-school

Today was Ashton's first day of pre-school. He was so excited to go!

Getting ready to head out the door. The funny thing is that I posed him by the front door for the picture and then we walked down the hall and went out the door to the garage.

I tried to get Ashton to stop at the top of the stairs to take a picture and he didn't really want to . That explains the grumpy face.

I posed him by the front door of the school. Just as I went to take the picture his teacher said "Hi" to him. This was his reaction. So cute.

His teacher told him to sit and color while all the other kids arrived. I was completely forgotten about, until I walked by the window and got a distracted wave from him.

After school we went to the park with Alisha and her kids. Ashton had fun teasing Taylor and then we headed home for lunch. When he was done eating he curled up to "watch cartoons" and immediately fell asleep! Pre-school is hard work!

Burley Cubs parade entry

Keegan's all star team decided to have the kids be in the Burley fair parade. Mostly to give some advertising to their sponsors. We used David's brothers trailer and so a bunch of parents from the team came over Tuesday night and we decorated the trailer. Wednesday morning David hauled it to mom and dad's house for me and Dad picked up the pick up that Bonanza Motors let us use for the parade. In order to be judged for a prize you had to line up at 9 am and the parade didn't start until 10:30. After an hour and a half of dealing with rambunctious boys I was wondering if it was worth it. As we pulled up the start of the parade one of the parade officials came over and gave us our check for winning third place in the Youth division. I was pretty surprised considering that our float was done at the last minute. I thought it came out really cute, but I didn't think it would win anything. Everything went pretty smooth during the parade, but I think the coaches in the back had their hands full dealing with the kids, I rode in the pickup. We invited the high school baseball players to ride on the float as well. The theme this year was "Imagine today, harvest tomorrow" so we thought having the current players and the future players together fit the theme pretty well.
